Alto saxophone - The alto saxophone is a variety of the saxophone, a family of woodwind instruments invented by Adolphe Sax. The alto is the third smallest of the saxophone family, which consists of over eight sizes of saxophone (see saxophone).

Mezzo-soprano saxophone - The mezzo-soprano saxophone, also sometimes called the F alto saxophone, is an instrument in the saxophone family. It is in the key of F, pitched a whole step above the alto saxophone.

Sopranino saxophone - The sopranino saxophone is one of the smallest members of the saxophone family. A sopranino saxophone is tuned in the key of E-flat, and sounds an octave above the alto saxophone.

Soprano saxophone - The soprano saxophone is a variety of the saxophone, a woodwind instrument. The soprano is the second in size of the sax family which consists, as generally accepted, (from smallest to largest) of sopranino, soprano, alto, tenor, baritone, bass, and contrabass.
