Ritchie Trombone Choir - The Ritchie Trombone Choir is a group of Trombone players who meet roughly once a week at the Ritchie United Church in central Edmonton. They play numerous concerts throughout the year at various venues, contain players of various ages, and are directed by Edmonton music director Ken Read.
Ras Shorty I - Ras Shorty I (October 6, 1941-July 12, 2000) was a soca musician, known as the Father of Soca and The Love Man. He was born Garfield Blackman in Lengua, Trinidad and Tobago, and rose to fame as Lord Shorty with his 1963 hit "Clock and Dagger".
Trombone - The trombone is a musical instrument in the brass family. A lip-reed aerophone with a predominantly cylindrical bore, the trombone is usually characterised by a telescopic slide with which the player varies the length of the tube to change pitches.
The Voodoo Trombone Quartet - The Voodoo Trombone Quartet is the musical fantasy of Paul Thorpe. They are signed to the record label Freshly Squeezed Music.
